Rustic Wedding Venue North West of Fort Worth

Nestled on the North West Side of Fort Worth, just down Jacksboro Highway about 15 minutes, is the gorgeous new venue The Orchard.

The Orchard

Sunset at The Orchard. According to their website, they can accommodate any size party from 50-400. With a hay-field full of round bales, trees, a pond, a barn and a cabin, there is a wide diversity of backdrops for your photos.

You can choose to have your engagement and bridal shoots here, included in your wedding package.

Your groom and his guys will love the separate cabin complete with pool table, big TV, loungers and video games. Surrounded by Pecan Trees, it doesn’t get much more southern than that.

Personal experience hint: their bales are huge, but amazing and fun backdrops for your Texas style wedding and engagement shoots. Check with your photographer prior to the shoot to ensure they have a 3 step-ladder, and if not make sure you bring one along.

A little farther North, just outside of Denton, is the gorgeous Grove Wedding Venue.

From their website “The Grove is a new, unique and exceptional North Texas wedding venue minutes from Denton, Frisco, McKinney and Plano. The Grove will excite and amaze from the moment that you and your guests arrive. The private gated entrance opens up to a beautiful, mile long tree canopy driveway. I can attest to the quiet solitude that is found here and the owners are simply amazing. If you have a large guest list, you’ll want to keep looking. The owners like to focus on more intimate weddings, enjoying the romance and camaraderie.

As with all outdoor pursuits in Texas, planning an outdoor evening event near a pond means remember bug spray! Elderly grandparents and young guests need somewhere to escape the heat. Not to mention, the cake will melt. Ensure your venue has an indoor option for at least a portion of your reception.
